Blood test normal ranges in the UK: A to Z

How to use this table

There is no single normal range for a blood marker, because each laboratory sets its own and prints it on your report. This table gives the typical adult ranges and guidance thresholds we use for each marker we cover. Compare your result with the range on your own report, and read the marker page to see what a low or high result can mean.

50 markers. A reference range describes where most healthy people fall and is not a diagnosis; a result outside it is a reason for a clinician to look, not a verdict. Ranges for men, women, age groups and cycle phase are listed where they differ.
